Jerome Cabuhat
Teaching Pro
Jerome Cabuhat has always had a keen interest in tennis. He would spend several hours on the court during the weekend developing his skills. His dedication afforded him many opportunities including winning tournaments and ultimately led him to play NCAA Division 2 tennis at Mercy College.
Through his experiences and devotion to the sport, he spent the last 5 years instructing tennis programs for both children and adults at Hamsphire Country Club in Mamaroneck, NY and at Shrub Oak tennis program in Yorktown, NY. Moreover, during these past 3 years, Jerome developed interest in pickleball and has become an avid player. He has successfully completed the IPTPA Level 1 Certification Program. Jerome has also participated in several APP tournaments including the New York Open, medaled in both singles and men’s doubles in the New Jersey Open and also medaled in mixed doubles in the Atlantic City Tournament.
While he enjoys teaching tennis and playing pickleball, one of his greatest passions is to aid in the development of a junior pickleball program where young children can learn and develop skills in pickleball and also provide lessons for adults who would like to further enhance their skills.
